Copertino DOP Rosso.

At the tree grown vineyards, planted more than forty years ago, one arrives leaving the city behind to follow the scent of the sea. The warmth of the earth and the light breeze bring back so many memories to those who stop there and breathe in this perfume. A rich wine, full of sensations and emotions, which recalls the ancient oenological history of the terroir from which it is derived, proudly bearing the denomination "Copertino DOP".

GRAPES.

Negroamaro 80%, Malvasia nera di Lecce 15%, Montepulciano 5%, with an average age of the vineyard of about 40 years old.

TRAINING SYSTEM.

Apulian “Alberello” 

VINIFICATION.

Classic vinification in red, the must remains in maceration with the skins for about 6-8 days in order to obtain a wine of great body colour and fragrance. The fermentation temperature is maintained between 26-28 ° C. 

AGEING.

In tonneau per circa 6 mesi. 

TASTING NOTES.

The colour is deep ruby red, the nose has a complex bouquet with hints of vanilla, carob, berries and spices. The taste is dry with a slightly bitter aftertaste, velvety, sapid, generous.

FOOD PAIRING.

It is a wine that goes perfectly with first courses, roasts and grilled, stewed meat and aged cheeses
